The Nevada Applied Epidemiology Fellowship is a one-year paid field placement program for recent MPH graduates. Participating fellows will receive on-the-job training through placements at local public health agencies in Nevada.

There will be 3 one-year fellowship positions available beginning in December 2025. Fellows will be hired through the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a stipend of $58,656 per year with health benefits included.

Applicant Requirements

• Applicants must have a recent Masters of Public Health degree completed at an institution accredited by the Council of Education for Public Health (CEPH). Applicants with online and non-US degrees are only eligible if qualifying degree was obtained at a CEPH accredited institution. Please visit the CEPH website for more information about accredited programs.
  • Summer 2025 graduates are eligible to apply, but will be required to provide proof of graduation as part of the hiring process.
• Applicants must have a desire to pursue a public health career in the State of Nevada.
• Applicants must be willing to reside in Nevada for the entirety of the Fellowship.
• Applicants must be willing to work in person at the host site.
• All fellowship applicants must have legal authorization to work in the United States from December 2025 to November 2026. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship.
